Fela Yomi-Layinka aka Phizzle, is a rapper and media entrepreneur born in Ibadan on the 9th of Feb 1985 into a media family. His mom is a trained journalist while his father is a TV producer/director. He grew up around the arts; music, theatre, creative and the fine arts.Phizzle grew up with very little access to foreign pop music, so he listened predominantly to the likes of Alex O, Alex Zitto, Daniel Wilson, Blackky etc. He was and still is a big fan of Shina Peters and his Afro Juju genre. It wasn't until listening to the likes of Maintain, Trybesmen, Modenine and Eedris Abdulkareem during the birth of Nigerian Hip-Hop in the late 90s that he got his motivation to become rapper.
