Nicki Minaj Reported to have Spent $30,000 on Brothers Wedding

Minaj reportedly spent around $30,000 on her older brother Jelani Maraj's wedding to Jacqueline Robinson, which took place on Saturday (22.08.15) in front of 200 guests in New York. 

Sharing a snap from the big day, she captioned it: ''I would cross the ocean for u. I would go & bring u the moon. Promise u. For u I will. I love my brother so much man. 

''Can't believe I cried during his wedding and his first dance like a punk. May God bless him and his union. Tonight has been one of my favorite nights of all time. I do anything to see my brothers smile. (sic)'' 

Sources say the 32-year-old star arrived early for the wedding along with her seven security guards, makeup artists, a photographer and a few friends. The insider shared to the New York Post's Page Six column: ''Nicki's security guys were massive. They could barely fit through the door. But she was sweet and low-key. 

''Nicki couldn't have been sweeter, she ... looked really happy for her brother, and she didn't perform or take the spotlight during the reception. She seemed to be making a point not to upstage the bride, saying it was her big day. 

''To the slight disappointment of some other guests, there were no 'Anaconda' moves ... She stayed until 12:30 a.m.''

Nominees for Africa Music Awards 2015 Revealed

The nominees for this years' Africa Music Awards have been revealed and Voting ongoing. Ghanaian Band Dark suburb were nominated this year. Our sister Country Nigeria has received several nominations in most female categories. Yemi Alade and Shey Shay are all over Female categories.

Kenya has bagged a total of 18 nominations in the 2015 edition of the All Africa Music Awards (Afrima).

Boy band Sauti Sol was Kenya's biggest nominee with four nods. The band was nominated for the Best African Group, Best Collaboration with Amos & Josh for the song Nerea and for Sura Yako as Song and Video of the Year.

Finally all the rumors the the controversial Tonto Dikeh can be put to reat now. On saturday she finally tied the knot with entrepreneur and business man not a married man as the rumors had them.

Since Saturday, August 8, 2015 when star actress, Tonto Dikeh kicked off her wedding rites in a ceremony held in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, the media have been awashed with mixed reactions from her fans and critics.

Following that introduction ceremony, Tonto Dikeh has changed her name to Mrs Tonto Wigo Dikeh-Churchill, being that her husband the CEO of Big Churchill Haven Limited and Big Church Entertainment in Ikoyi, Lagos, bears the name Oladunni Churchill.
