I have heard we have poetry freaks in the world but didn't know we had a lot in Ghana. Introducing to you guys at Oil City aka Takoradi is the first ever "Open Mic Night". Im guessing if anything foreign is coming it starts from the coast. It's a night of Poetry, spoken word and live music. With big names performing. we have our very own AsanteGMT repping. Other big names include Eric Law, Mutombo and the newest poet i know by his street name Ryteous. Its a night u don't wanna miss. It's happening on the 2nd of August at the Charddonay Pub. Entry is free and time is 7pm. Be there in your numbers. It's dubbed SPOKEN REASONS.
