New Article :: Friends With Benefits ( FWB)

I am lying down here all satiated after a hot one with my FWB and I’m thinking to myself “why don’t I write an article about this. It would give my readers something to smile about”. I’m just kidding by the way. But come to think of it, FWB is not that easy in a country like Ghana where most people are far too concerned about what people might say about them. Well I sure have something to tell you newbies that wanna try it out.

Mine started with a beautiful lady and it was really fun but for all you newbies I’m gonna be your guide for the next few minutes you will spend reading this article. First of all I want you to ask yourself this, what could be better than getting physical with someone you’re already comfortable around, and not worrying about ending up boyfriend or girlfriend. Or worse getting your feelings entangled in it???

Here’s how to get started:

First you gotta find someone you like. Be sure you’re comfortable with your potential friend with benefits and that you find them attractive. Or you can be stupid like I was and ask anybody you think might wanna do that with you. But your results may be nasty like a slap here, a kick in the nuts there.

Step two is to find out if the person is dating anyone or is planning to get serious with anyone in the near future. Knowing such information would be vital to you especially when you find out that the sex is good. On rear occasions you may ask her if she wants to FWB with you. I promise you that wouldn’t go well but you might be lucky and end up with your desired request.

Once you have established grounds with them by what so ever kululu ways you achieved such grounds, next step is easy breezy. Heads up, if the person is your long time friend then this next part would be very awkward that’s why you gotta be attracted to them in the first place. Start by making out, some light kisses and caresses with each other. This will not only be a fun way to get comfortable, but it also puts the idea of making out with you a second time appealing in your friend’s head (Psychology 101). And for God’s sakes do it well. Make his/her knees go weak, makes their heart race, make their head spin. If their response involves saying you’re like a brother or sister, take the intro and find another potential FWB. Or be a go getter and keep trying.

Body language is the best way to investigate a relationship like this. Oh and try going out with your friend and get high on the whiskey. Cause let’s face it, everyone gets a little frisky with alcohol in them. If you both are of age, get slightly tipsy one night and end up making out and laughing about it the next day, this is a potential start to a friend’s with benefits relationship. After the make out session, hint at how much fun you had and suggest you rekindle some drunken flames. If your friend seems into it or is a cool person who loves to experiment, go for it; if not, play it off like you were only kidding.

Next and most important step is for you guys to talk. Set the ground rules. Let each party know what he or she is getting themselves into for up front. For example, and appropriate to your situation, when one of you has sex with someone else it must be put on the table. STDs are real you know. Make sure not to lead the other person on.

The most important point all you who wanna pursue this must keep in mind, DON’T DITCH THE FRIENDSHIP. There is a thin line between FWB and a real relationship so know which side you on. Do things that don’t involve sex together, be honest with each other, and have fun! If you only see each other when you are having sex, it’s more of a booty call than a friendship. In addition to adding or keeping a good friend, the friendship can add more spice to the benefits and oh yeah, the key killers of all this fun is jealousy and emotions so don’t try this if you are the jealous or emotional type.

News: R2Bees Win Plenty At VGMAs 2013

It was a night to behold for the men
from Tema, as they took home 6 awards at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2013, including the much coveted Artiste of the Year award. The two men who are responsible for tracks such as 'walahi' and 'Its Alright' and have been nominated for the 2013
Black Entertainment Television ( BET)
award for the Best International Act
(Africa) category, dedicated the ultimate prize of the night to their fans. They also mentioned and acknowledged injured artiste artiste, Yaw Siki.
The duo, made up of Faisal Hakeem
(Paedae da Pralem) and Rashid Mugeez (Mugeez), also walked away with a brand new MG Rover vehicle and Samsung Galaxy S4 phones from Vodafone.
The glitzy event which showcased some of Ghana's finest finest acts such as Sarkodie, Efya, VIP and Kwaw Kese also featured performance from Nigerian artistes such as WizKid and Banky W and international act, Fuse ODG of
'Antenna' fame. Other big winners on the night were M.anifest, Herty borngreat and Kaakie.
MCs for the night were KOD and Eazzy, who after the event wrote on Twitter:
"thank u Lord for making my first stage hosting gig a sucess..co -hosting vgma was so much fun"
The 2013 edition of the event however, did not go without its usual controversy as several fans, through Twitter and Facebook, expressed disappointment at the choice of some winners in some categories.
